Imaging Services
The Medical Imaging Department provides diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through seniors. Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services are provided as a part of a multi-disciplinary program of care.
The scope of care includes the modalities of diagnostic radiology examinations including general radiography, fluoroscopy, Interventional angiography, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic nuclear medicine, and mammography. Many imaging procedures are also now done digitally so that patients receive less radiation and images can be viewed immediately via computer as well as being viewed physicians in their offices or in other departments.
The department offers imaging services 24 hours a day, by staffed positions and/or on-call personnel. Technologists and radiologists are available by telephone or pager and able to respond in 30 minutes or less. Radiologists are available via teleradiology for interpretation of radiographs after normal business hours.
